Azul is the world’s only company exclusively focused on Java and the
Java Virtual Machine (JVM). Founded in 2002, we are a private software
company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California with additional Sales,
Support, and Engineering locations worldwide.
Azul serves companies and organizations that need to deliver
server-based Java applications for their web-facing customers (travel,
online retail, gaming, SaaS), meet specific latency targets for realtime
business systems (advertising networks, capital markets,
communications), ensure timely security updates for their Java estate,
or deliver Java-based solutions for ISV, OEM, and other embedded use
cases.
Our business is subscription-based Java product and services focusing on
serving the global Java community and ISVs with our Zing (for
high-performance & low latency) and Zulu OpenJDK (for open source
replacement of the Oracle JDK).
